This sale is for a vintage scrap book of playbills and broadside advertisements from plays that were performed in the St. Louis area. I see dates as far back as 1989, and into the 1930's. I would say the majority are form the 1920's and 1930's. I do not know the history, if the person who collected this was a fan of the theater, or a performer, or in some other way associated with the theater. I carefuly looked through the book, and counted 115 pieces. Most are complete and in good shape. Some have come loose from the staple that was holding the playbill together.
