BALDWIN SLOANE musical extravaganza "THE WIZARD OF OZ" at the Boston Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production opened January 20th, 1903 at the Majestic Theatre in New York City and ran for 293 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred ANNA LAUGHLIN as "Dorothy Gale, a Kansas girl, the victim of a cyclone", FRED A. STONE as the "Scarecrow, looking for brains", ARTHUR HILL as the "Cowardly Lion", DAVID C. MONTGOMERY as the "Tin Woodman, in search of a heart", LOTTA FAUST as "Tryxie Tryfle, prospective Queen of the Emerald City", CHARLES SWAINE as "Oz, the Wonderful Wizard, ... CONDITION: (Please Note!) The seam is split from the bottom edge to the top staple. Otherwise, with the exception of minor edge wear, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
