This is a beautiful souvenir program from the Original West End production of the STEPHEN SCHWARTZ and WINNIE HOLZMAN musical "WICKED" at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened October 30th, 2003 at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City and is still playing after over 5500 performances. The London production began previews on September 7th, 2006, officially opened on September 27th, 2006 and is still selling out nightly.) ..... The musical starred IDINA MENZEL, repeating her Tony Award winning role of "Elphaba" (she would be replaced on December 30th, 2006 by KERRY ELLIS) and HELEN DALLIMORE (in her West End debut) as "Glinda" and featured ADAM GARCIA, MIRIAM MARGOLYES, MARTIN BALL, JAMES GILLAN, KATIE ROWLEY JONES and NIGEL PLANER as "The Wizard" ..... The Original Broadway production starred KRISTIN CHENOWETH as "Glinda" and IDINA MENZEL as "Elphaba" and featured CAROLE SHELLEY, NORBERT LEO BUTZ, MICHELLE FEDERER, CHRISTOPHER FITZGERALD, WILLIAM YOUMANS and JOEL GREY as "The Wizard" .....
